Yesterday was beautiful in the New York-New Jersey area. Even as I walked home late from work, I really didn’t need the jacket I was wearing. I warmed up a bit more as my friend and I headed to the Barcade for their West Coast Beer Night (plenty of tasty California and Oregon brews on tap).
The warm temperatures and my friend constantly talking about his desperation to move back to southern California made me think about the last time I was there. It’s been a few years.
Walking by the Pacific in Laguna Beach is rather peaceful (at least the parts I’ve been to with my grandparents). And while I don’t share my friend’s desire to move to the area, I would have no objections to visiting more often.
